Mac Mini ServerI recently bought an Apple Mac Mini Server to replace both a Windows Home Server and a Windows Media Center. That’s right, two for one! Why the replacement? Hardware failure in one and time caught up with me on the other. More on that later.

I’m a long-time Windows power user, so this was a great learning experience. Was the operation a success? In many ways it was a fabulous upgrade, and in others it was like giving up mint chocolate chip ice cream for vanilla.
